What is STUCO? (Student Council)

Hello Pumas & Parents — Welcome!

We’re a team of student leaders who bring energy, ideas, and action into everything we do — from schoolwide events to spirit weeks, and giving wonderful improvements to our school. If something fun or meaningful is happening at school, there’s a good chance StuCo is behind it.

StuCo is here for the sad, the mad, and the excitement! We’re here spreading joy and positivity around our school!

Puma Pals

Don’t just read to your little ones—bring joy and activities to their lives!

Puma Pals is a group where older students help younger children by:

  • Reading stories to them

  • Assisting with learning activities and crafts

  • Being positive role models and friendly helpers

🎟️ Concessions

Goal: To raise money or support events by selling snacks and drinks.

We’re always here at Ranum, serving up affordable and delicious snacks while you kick back, relax, and enjoy the game!

What’s Power Groups?

Your classroom superheroes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

We’re students who team up to support classmates facing tough times—whether it’s stress, struggles, or just needing a hand. Together, we boost each other’s energy and make school a friendlier, stronger place!

What’s Spirit Week?

Student Council organizes fun activities—and Spirit Week is a week-long celebration full of:

  • Fun dress-up days

  • School pride

  • Awesome energy

Each day has a different theme, and students (and staff!) are encouraged to join in, show their creativity, and represent our school spirit loud and proud!

PBIS Events 👍

Every quarter, we celebrate YOU—students rocking great behavior!

It’s our way of saying “Awesome job!” with cool awards and good vibes all around.

PBIS is all about:

  • Teaching students what good behavior looks like

  • Encouraging positive actions with recognition or rewards

  • Consistently responding to behavior (both good and bad) in a structured way
