Dress Code
Orchard Park Academy has adopted the following guidelines for student dress:

Sweat bands, gloves, sunglasses and hats are to be worn outside.
Clothing in support of athletic teams may be worn at the discretion of the Principal.
The presence of gang symbols on the school grounds and displayed on any apparel, jewelry, accessory, notebooks or manner of grooming which by virtue of color, arrangement, trademark or any other attribute denotes membership in gangs promoting violence or disruptive behavior is prohibited.
“Sagging” is not permitted
“Heelies” or shoes with wheels are not permitted
Skirts and shorts must be a reasonable length
No very short skirts or shirts
No bad/curse words or inappropriate pictures on T-shirts
No crop tops (no stomachs showing)
No shirts that expose the back or the chest
No muscle shirts or spaghetti straps (three finger rule on tank tops)
Hats may not be worn in the building Bandanas are not permitted
Large or oversized chains and expensive jewelry are not permitted

Students wearing any of the above clothing will be asked to call parents or may be asked to wear other clothing provided by the school.

Your cooperation in enforcing this code is greatly appreciated. We appreciate your help in ensuring that all Orchard Park students dress appropriately. Please contact the principal any questions.

Orchard Park Academy adopto las siguientes guiás de vestuario para estudiantes:

Bandas para el sudor, guantes, lentes de sol y gorros deben ser usadas afuera.
Ropa apoyando equipos deportivos se pueden usar con la discreción de el director.
La presencia de símbolos de pandillas en la escuela o en ropa, joyas, accesorios, cuadernos, o manera de vestir por virtud de color, arreglo, marca registrada, o cualquier otra cualidad que denota membriacia en pandilla promoviendo violencia o comportamiento disruptivo es prohibida. “Pantalones caidos” no es permitido.
Zapatos (Heelies) o tenis con ruedas en la escuela no son permitidos.
Faldas y pantalones cortos (shorts) deben ser de lo largo razonable.
No pantalones cortos o faldas muy cortitas.
No playeras con malas palabras o dibujos
No playeras cortas (no se puede enseñar él estomago)
No blusas que enseñen la espalda o pecho
No camisetas de tirantes (los tirantes deben ser tres dedos de grueso)
Gorros no se pueden usar
Cadenas demasiadas grandes o joyas caras no son permitidas.

Los estudiantes usando la ropa mencionada arriba serán pedidos que le hablen a sus padres o serán pedidos que usen otra ropa proporcionada por la escuela.
